Our latest Ofsted Report

Our latest OFSTED report was published following a visit to our school in June 2007

The inspection highlighted the following as strengths of the school.

The inspector noted that the children enjoy their work at school and are keen to help the school.

The inspector also gave the school suggestions on how to improve further. Since the inspection there have been major changes in staff and many changes throughout the school. We have kept the best of the old but also addressed the inspectors suggestions. We now have a long term curriculum plan which makes sure that work is not repeated for the same children, while ensuring good coverage of the National Curriculum. We have introduced systems for closely monitoring the progress of individual children; this is to ensure there is good progress and sufficient challenge. We are working on the children’s understanding of learning targets and how this can improve their learning.

We are keen to improve further and are always working to improve standards.
